Most of the week this is as close as you can get, but we were lucky enough to be there when they opened the gates for a rare guided tour. Since it's surrounded by private lands, you have to be escorted to a small parking area at the base, and then climb up the steep, wind-whipped path to the top. The tour is almost two hours long.
