For our mid-May excursion, the kids broke in their new car seats with an afternoon trip to see the Golden Gate bridge for the first time. It's fun to play tourist in your own backyard, but for all the time we spent in Sausalito and the Marin Headlands, it's amazing how often those famous red towers kept popping up.
